Banners mounted on to the sun board or sun pack sheets or acrylic can be directly pasted on to any plain surface. For direct pasting it is advisable to go with the self-adhesive vinyl also known as SAV. You can laminate the vinyl for added life and better finish which can be either gloss or matt lamination. Designing and print resolution
Print resolution for normal solvent printers like flex and star flex is 72 DPI, but for eco solvent and latex printers at least 150 DPI is advised. Always provide high resolution original design file with all text fields embedded in the design for printing. You can convert your design into pdf and zoom to check if the print resolution of all the elements used in the design is high is resolution or not. Where ever possible, use vector images instead of scalar images. Avoid using small picture and images and use high resolution pictures taken on DSLR cameras.
